First Aid Training With St. John @Herald

Learning something new is always a valuable experience—but when that skill could help save a life, it becomes truly meaningful. In April, thanks to a $500 volunteer grant from the City of Canning, a group of dedicated volunteers from the Club took part in a First Aid course run by the St John Ambulance Brigade.
From mastering CPR techniques to learning how to apply slings and handle common emergencies, the session was both eye-opening and empowering. Who knew that bandages, recovery positions, and basic first aid could spark such enthusiasm?
Everyone left the course not only with new skills but with the confidence to make a real difference in times of need.
